We will be performing an unplanned maintenance on the /carc/scratch filesystem on Wednesday, July 2nd, in an effort to address recent instability issues. To ensure a safe and clean unmount of the filesystem, we are going to briefly hold jobs on all clusters just long enough to unmount the filesystem from the clusters. Any job that will not complete prior to 8 AM July 2nd will be held until the unmount is finished. The /carc/scratch filesystem will remain unavailable for 1 to 2 days, even after jobs resume. We will send an email update once it is remounted and is available again. We greatly appreciate your patience as we work to provide the most performant and reliable filesystem we can.
