LosLobos will be down for systems maintenance on Thursdays until further notice. The period of downtime will be from 8:00am to 12:00pm MST. See the Message of the Day for more information- http://www.ahpcc.unm.edu/Systems/motd/

LosLobos is ranked 80'th on the Top 500 List. It is the highest ranked Linux cluster on the list.

Linux Superclusters maximize capability while minimizing cost. The design combines commodity parts with a high bandwidth, low latency interconnect network to solve communication-intensive grand challenge problems.

LosLobos provides production cycles for NSF funded scientific research as part of the Partnerships for Advanced Computational Infrastructure (PACI) Grid through the NCSA. LosLobos also provides a development environment for advanced systems research in computer science and engineering.

Large allocations (>10,000 hrs) are granted to NSF scientists and researchers through the NCSA. Small allocations are granted by AHPCC. To apply for allocations you must meet certain eligibility requirements.
