Supplementing and Complementing IBM's Research Interests

Under this SUR grant, UNM is looking forward to collaboration with IBM researchers and development teams in projects of joint interest. The planned configuration of equipment represents UNM's and the community's vision of what configurations of the future to support significant scientific and visualization activities for the next decade. From UNM's persepective, the following areas of interest and research are possible or greatly enhanced by the unique but visionary SUR machine configuration, and UNM believes this research investigation is of interest to IBM.
