The role

You will run the MESA project — a $4.6M NSF cooperative agreement (award #2632685, 2026–2029) — the way NSF expects a cooperative agreement to be run: the Project Execution Plan, a WBS-based schedule with budget tracking, the risk register, change control, monthly meetings with the NSF program officer, and day-to-day coordination across three institutions and two subawards. You report directly to the principal investigator at CARC.

What you bring

  • Experience managing funded research or infrastructure projects.
  • Fluency with earned-value-informed progress tracking.
  • The authority to keep an Agile software project on a federal baseline.
