HPCERC is pleased to host the first of two Cluster Institute Workshops to be held at HPCERC this year. This workshop is from Jan. 7-11, 8 am to 5 pm each day, in the workshop room. The second workshop at HPCERC will be Sept. 30-Oct.4. Registration is available at: http://www.linuxclustersinstitute.org/registration.html
The Linux Clusters Institute workshops are intensive, hands-on sessions for computational scientists, engineers, and cluster system administrators. The workshops enable computational scientists and engineers to develop applications that achieve maximum performance and scalability on Linux clusters of all sizes. System administrators learn about issues related to the administration of Linux clusters in support of secure, reliable, and high-performance computing. Prospective users of Linux clusters will find the workshops a detailed and informative introduction to the process of configuring, acquiring, and using Linux clusters.
The Linux Clusters Institute was founded by the National Center for Supercomputing Applications at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, the Albuquerque High Performance Computing Center at the University of New Mexico, and the Advanced Computing Technology Center at IBM Research.
