The Center for High Performance Computing hosts a world-class visualization laboratory. This laboratory, sponsored in conjunction with the university of New Mexico's Electrical and Computer Engineering Departments, conducts research that focuses on the design and implementation of visualization software architectures, novel visualization techniques, four-dimensional data representations, multi-screen graphical presentation systems, sound localization, parallel rendering algorithms, and new human-computer interfaces.
