24. How to Connect Your Machine to the CARC Printer System

The printers located in the Center for Advanced Research Computing can only be accessed from within the CARC network. 

Available Printers in CARC network:

 The instructions below are for installing the driver for the main Xerox Copier. 

To install a printer on a Windows System:

  1. Download the Xerox print driver from here.
  2. Run the installer
  3. If the copier does not auto-discover you can search for it  “copier.hpc.unm.edu”
  4. When the installer is finished you will be able to use the CARC copier

To install a printer on OS X:

  1. Download the Xerox print driver from here.
  2. Run the installer
  3. If the copier does not auto-discover you can search for it  “copier.hpc.unm.edu”
  4. When the installer is finished you will be able to use the CARC copier
