All,
AHPCC made the top 500 supercomputer list at number 80 - 4th among US academic institutions. Overall C-plant at SNL was at 84 and MHPCC clocked in at 57 with a SP to be delivered in December (that is allowed). Our AHPCC team did the hard work of actually benchmarking LosLobos. It appears to be the highest rated Linux cluster on the list.
Again congratulations to the whole team especially the benchmarking team who did some tremendous work in a hard effort to get us to this level. Next time we will fall behind because of processor speed (newer machines will have faster processors) but for now you are on the top of the cluster world.
